The event valet planning checklist Miami producers use

Every flawless gala has a one-page valet plan behind it. The plan covers seven elements — none of them complicated, all of them non-negotiable.

The seven elements

1. Site walk completed at least 7 days out, in the same lighting as the event.

2. Lane plan with cone placement and sign locations, drawn to scale.

3. Key-station footprint with attendant count and shift schedule.

4. Off-site relay lot identified with travel time documented.

5. Rain contingency in writing, distributed to all attendants.

6. Departure plan: pre-positioned runners, retrieval staging zones, end-of-program timing.

7. On-site supervisor with radio comms to the production team.
